This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Final Filing Date: 7/18/2025 The California Department of Motor Vehicles Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking a motivated, technology-forward Information Technology (IT) Associate to join our DL Analyst Group. This dynamic team supports the innovation and enhancement of DMVs technology products with a focus on improving quality, reliability, access, and user experience. As an IT Associate, you will contribute to critical efforts that blend business analysis, software development, and project management. You will be responsible for interpreting business and technology challenges, developing solutions, and supporting the implementation and testing of applications. Key Responsibilities: Translate business and technical problems into practical solutions Analyze, design, document, and support application development Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and technical discussions Create technical documentation and manage communications with stakeholders Support IT project management and business technology initiatives Required Qualifications: Experience as a business analyst or in a similar analytical/technical role Knowledge of software development practices and the software development life cycle Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in technical writing and documentation Understanding of project management principles and tools We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, forward-thinking, and passionate about using technology to improve public service.
