Qualifications
You'll have... Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field 3-5+ years of experience designing software using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and C Experience with the entire software development process of control modules, including design, coding, debugging, and testing Even better, you may have... Familiarity with MISRA standards for automotive software Experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL scripting for testing and debugging Proficiency in Matlab modeling, code generation, debugging, and testing Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Ability to support code reviews for critical modules Understanding of CAN and LIN communications protocols Experience working with suppliers on diagnostics information Knowledge of standards such as DIN, ISO15118, SAE J1772 Understanding of high voltage automotive and hybrid systems (preferred) Strong teamwork, communication, and self-motivation skills Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve product development issues If you believe you can bring value to Ford, we encourage you to apply! Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on control module requirements Manage software development and troubleshooting with suppliers Ensure delivery of all software-related outputs Participate in sourcing control modules Analyze vehicle data to debug control issues Support software release and documentation processes Assist with system testing in lab and vehicle environments
