Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field 3-5+ years of experience designing software using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and C Experience with the complete software development lifecycle of control modules, including design, coding, debugging, and testing Even better, you may have... Familiarity with MISRA standards for automotive software Experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL scripting for testing and debugging Proficiency in Matlab modeling, code generation, debugging, and testing Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Ability to support code reviews for critical modules Understanding of CAN and LIN communications protocols Experience working with suppliers on diagnostics information Familiarity with standards such as DIN, ISO15118, and SAE J1772 Understanding of high voltage automotive and hybrid systems (preferred) Strong teamwork, communication, and self-motivation skills Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve product development issues If you believe you can bring significant value to Ford, we strongly encourage your application! Responsibilities In this role, you will: Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on control module requirements Manage software development and troubleshooting with suppliers Ensure timely delivery of all software-related outputs Participate in sourcing control modules Analyze vehicle data to debug control issues Support software release and documentation processes Assist with system testing in lab and vehicle environments
