Head of Sales

to lead ATI’s commercial efforts across the U.S. This full-time, leadership role is ideal for someone with deep industry experience in the tire or automotive equipment sector who thrives in both high-level strategy and hands-on execution. You will be responsible for defining and owning ATI’s sales strategy, establishing and achieving revenue targets, building key customer relationships, and closing deals that drive growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the tire service landscape, fluency in capital equipment sales, and a collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with product and engineering. Key Responsibilities: Own Sales Strategy & Revenue Targets : Develop and execute ATI’s sales strategy to meet company revenue goals, including defining KPIs, managing the pipeline, and forecasting quarterly performance. Lead Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management : Identify, approach, and close customers including national fleets, dealerships, independent repair shops, and service networks. Cultivate long-term relationships and provide a premium customer experience. Drive Full Sales Lifecycle: Oversee the complete sales process from lead generation to signed POs . Present ROI analyses, lead product demos, structure pricing proposals, and manage deal negotiations. Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Serve as the voice of the customer—working closely with ATI’s engineering and product teams to relay feedback, feature requests, and market insights that inform product development. Support Deployment & Ongoing Engagement : Coordinate with ATI’s deployment and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, installation, and customer satisfaction. Identify upsell opportunities and maintain post-sale touch points. Build & Scale Sales Operations : Establish the systems, tools, and best practices to scale ATI’s commercial function, including CRM use, pipeline hygiene, and inside/outside sales capabilities. 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in the

tire ,

automotive equipment , or

industrial automation sectors . Demonstrated success selling complex or capital equipment solutions to commercial, franchise, and independent service operators. Deep industry knowledge and a robust network of contacts in the tire or automotive service ecosystem. Skilled in customer discovery, consultative selling, value-based pricing, and objection handling. Strong communicator who can navigate technical and business conversations across all organizational levels. Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and comfort with pipeline and revenue reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience launching a new product to market or scaling an early-stage sales function. Previous work in a hardware, robotics, or venture-backed startup environment. Hands-on understanding of tire shops, dealer service lanes, or fleet maintenance operations. Familiarity with selling into operational workflows with long equipment life cycles and service needs. MBA or additional business training is a plus. Located in the East Coast, preferably Greater Boston.
