Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing, managing and supporting cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Azure services, strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for automation and cloud best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy and maintain scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and ensure high availability. Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-based applications. Configure and manage Azure services such as VMs, Azure AD, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts and App Services. Automate provisioning and deployment processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI or DevOps tools. Ensure compliance with security best practices and corporate policies. Participate in incident response, change management and patching activities. Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide knowledge transfer to other teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field. 3–6 years of experience managing Microsoft Azure environments. Proficiency in Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure AD, VNet, NSG, Azure Backup, Key Vault, etc. Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS and load balancing in Azure. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
