$125,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead and manage all facets of Human Resources for their growing organization in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, hands-on HR expertise, and industry experience in construction (GC or subcontractor), manufacturing, engineering, or a similar field. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the executive team and playing a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy and culture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals Advise executive leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent development Champion company culture and employee engagement initiatives Manage and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all HR practices (FLSA, OSHA, EEOC, etc.) Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on performance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters Develop and manage performance review processes and employee development plans Conduct investigations and guide resolution of sensitive employee issues Oversee compensation structures and annual salary reviews Administer benefit programs and manage vendor relationships Benchmark HR metrics and trends to ensure competitiveness and retention Oversee full-cycle recruiting for all levels, from skilled labor to corporate positions Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and industry partnerships Lead onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications preferred) SHRM-CP/SCP and/or PHR/SPHR a plus 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong background in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a similar industrial environment Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices Proven experience interacting with and advising executive leadership Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite Seniority level
