A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of practice experience and must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
Duties
Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations. Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed. Prepare discovery responses and manage document production. Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports. Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary. Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants. Requirements
1-5 years of practice experience in workers' compensation law. Licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse clientele and colleagues. Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn database management systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Education
Juris Doctorate or equivalent. Certifications
Bar license in North Carolina. Skills
