Principal Recruitment Consultant – AI | Tech | Data | Emerging Technologies New York City (Hybrid) Full-Time | Permanent Boston Quantara, part of Bright Group International (BGI), is a technology-led talent consultancy with a distinctive approach to connecting high-impact professionals with innovative companies across software engineering, AI, product, sales, and governance. We’re seeking a high-performing 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our growing New York City team. With a specialist focus on AI, machine learning, and emerging tech, this is a rare opportunity to lead from the front in a rapidly scaling market, partnering with cutting-edge startups and scaleups while earning exceptional commission and building something meaningful from the ground up. This role offers the autonomy and influence to shape our AI/IA specialist division across the U.S with the backing of an ambitious global organization. The Role As our first hire in NYC, you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle across one of the most in-demand sectors in tech. You’ll operate in a 360 capacity, developing your desk, winning new business, and placing exceptional tech talent into some of the most dynamic organizations. Manage the entire 360 recruitment process — from business development and client acquisition to candidate sourcing, engagement, and placement Build and grow a high-potential, warm desk focused on AI, data science, engineering, and emerging technologies Serve as a trusted advisor to clients — understanding their hiring goals, technical needs, and long-term growth plans Source, attract, and manage relationships with elite tech professionals across the U.S. and internationally Stay on top of tech trends, hiring insights, and emerging market movements to become a recognized industry expert Represent Boston Quantara at events, meetups, roundtables, and industry forums, elevating both your personal brand and our U.S. presence Collaborate with senior leadership to shape our U.S. recruitment strategy, service offering, and long-term market approach What We’re Looking For 4+ years of full-desk (360) recruitment experience, ideally within AI, ML, data, or broader tech verticals Proven track record of annual billings exceeding $300K Strong business development skills paired with excellent client retention and relationship management A consultative approach and deep understanding of technical hiring challenges and solutions Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to become a market leader in your space Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition and drive to build and scale in a fast-moving environment What You’ll Get Access to a warm desk with live roles and established clients from day one A clear path to leadership, with influence over our U.S. growth strategy Highly competitive commission structure with uncapped earnings Annual incentives, including international travel, bonuses, and President’s Club Hybrid working model: Start remotely with the option to work 2–3 days/week from our Manhattan office Access to industry-leading recruitment tech: Bullhorn, Apollo, SourceWhale, marketing and operational support, and a collaborative global team Boston Quantara, part of Bright Group International, delivers market-leading recruitment solutions in AI, Intelligent Automation, and AI Governance, supporting public and private sector clients across the U.S. and globally.
