Engineer - EMC
to join our Electrical team in
Menlo Park, CA . This role offers an opportunity to grow your career in the industry. Intertek's Electrical business applies over 100 years of product testing expertise to help clients meet safety, performance, environmental, and quality standards across various industries including Medical, Lighting, Renewable Energy, HVACR, and more. We operate a global network of laboratories with world-class experts committed to delivering quality, accurate testing, and certification. The
Engineer - EMC
will support the Electrical business by performing testing and evaluation on products to comply with U.S., Canadian, and international EMC standards, preparing reports, and communicating with clients. Shifts:
8am-5pm, 4pm-1am, or 8pm-5am. Note:
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Salary & Benefits:
$85,000 - $100,000, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more. Responsibilities:
Conduct product evaluations to determine compliance with standards. Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and standards. Set up and operate testing equipment, perform repairs, and document results. Mentor junior staff and support sales activities. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or physics. 0 years related experience. Ability to interpret technical instructions and standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of international safety standards. Up to 25% travel; valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications:
