The Role As a Software Engineering Manager at General Motors, you will guide development teams to improve user experience, quality, and performance. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and clearly communicating project details to all stakeholders. Your role involves encouraging innovation within your teams, allowing exploration of new ideas and technologies. You are expected to contribute across the entire technology stack, including client-side JavaScript, large-scale real-time data processing, and high-performance API services. You will work with autonomous teams passionate about developing new products and tools while maintaining system quality, performance, and scalability. What You'll Do Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective people manager. Host technical discussions, serve as a subject matter expert, and influence strategy.
