A leading airport-based food and beverage group is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead one of its flagship Southern-style restaurants in Atlanta, GA. General Manager Responsibilities
Lead and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations in a fast-paced airport environment, ensuring all areas run efficiently and smoothly Train, coach, and mentor team members to promote engagement, accountability, and professional growth at all levels Monitor daily financial performance and manage labor, food, and supply costs to meet profitability targets and reduce waste Ensure consistent, high-quality guest experiences by maintaining food safety, service standards, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere Partner closely with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and employee development plans while conducting timely performance evaluations Supervise inventory, purchasing, payroll, and end-of-day processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all administrative duties Be an approachable and accessible leader who supports team members across all shifts and leads by example Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, labor laws, and company policies Identify areas for improvement in operations and implement solutions to drive consistency, service quality, and team performance
General Manager Requirements
4+ years of experience managing a full-service restaurant with a culinary background Skilled in cost management, team motivation, and performance-based leadership Hands-on experience with payroll, inventory, scheduling, and operational procedures Must obtain Serve Safe Food Manager Certification within 6 months if not already certified Ability to stand, walk, and lift 25+ lbs throughout long shifts in a busy restaurant setting Comfortable working a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Outgoing and solutions-focused leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced atmosphere
