Accounting Coordinator

2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Ford Agency is actively seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join a successful and growing non-profit based in Arlington, Virginia. The Coordinator handling AP and AR and will work under the senior manager to learn and grow within the accounting field. This is a unique opportunity for someone with 2 years of accounting experience to join a collaborative and mission driven team that has room for growth! This is a hybrid role, in office 3 days/week. Responsibilities include: Handle new vendor and online portal set up Assist with journal entries and transactions Handle incoming requests and questions to team inbox Assist with AP/AR functions Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting Assist members with any accounting related questions/needs Assist team with special projects Qualifications include: Associates Degree requires, BA preferred 2+ years of accounting experience in a non-profit environment Proficient with MS Office Suite Experience with Salesforce, bill.com, Intacct, or similar software a plus Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
