A law firm seeks an Associate Immigration Attorney in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a passion for immigration law and a commitment to assisting clients through various legal processes.
Duties
Provide legal counsel and representation in immigration matters. Draft and file immigration petitions, applications, and motions. Prepare clients for immigration interviews and hearings. Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration laws. Represent clients in removal proceedings and asylum hearings. Review and analyze client documents for compliance. Collaborate with team members on case strategies. Maintain and update client files and case management systems. Advise clients on immigration options and eligibility. Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in the relevant state. 2-5 years of experience in immigration law. Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law and policies. Experience with family-based and employment-based petitions. Proven track record in deportation defense and asylum applications. Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse clients. Fluent in English and Spanish. Education
