Your work will be crucial in accurately representing satellite test results, driving key business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering, software, and manufacturing teams to identify drivers and influences on satellite performance. Design, build, and implement production models for real-time decision-making based on satellite test results. Optimize testing methodologies at scale to enhance satellite reliability. Analyze and model satellite telemetry from laboratory and on-orbit test results. Develop robust models and data pipelines for satellite telemetry. Create and manage datasets for pre-training and fine-tuning of machine learning models. Develop and implement scalable visualizations for satellite performance analysis. A Day in the Life:

As a Data Scientist in Project Kuiper, you will own the architecture and development of data analysis tools that assist engineering and production teams in assessing the flight-worthiness of each satellite. Your focus will include optimizing test results analysis to support Project Kuiper's production plans. About the Team:

The Automated Vehicle Testing Team is responsible for building core infrastructure and tools essential for automated satellite testing operations, facilitating rapid manufacturing process scaling. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a data scientist. 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab). 3+ years of experience with machine learning and data analysis techniques. Experience applying theoretical models in practical settings. Proficiency in Python, Perl, or other scripting languages. Experience in a data scientist or ML role at a large technology company. Our compensation reflects labor costs across various U.S. markets, ranging from $125,500 to $212,800 per year, based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
