The hiring range for this role is: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on factors including, but not limited to, competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay. Responsible for providing technical leadership, analysis, and design facilitation across business, information, and technical viewpoints, and enterprise architecture. This role will establish Synergie's solution architecture strategy, collaborating with the chief architect to lead integration of the Enterprise Architecture process. You will evaluate existing infrastructure, lead design, development, and deployment of healthcare business applications, and identify improvement opportunities translating them into development initiatives. You will define technical requirements, manage priorities, and ensure deliverables meet business needs and standards, guiding teams and external consultants to deliver solutions on time and scope. The role involves analytical thinking and technical expertise, including diagnosing issues, crafting architectural solutions, designing MVPs, developing prototypes, and driving Agile software delivery, ensuring quality, security, and performance. As a strategic contributor, you will explore emerging technologies and validate new approaches through proofs of concept. Analyze objectives to identify common patterns and develop reference architectures for business, information, technical, and system domains. Define architectural evolution and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HiTRUST, HIPAA). Translate business strategy into technical solutions, breaking down objectives into initiatives across projects and releases. Advise management on architectural and technology topics, risks, and opportunities. Oversee security architecture and infrastructure, ensuring solutions support security posture and best practices. Maintain formal documentation and architectural artifacts. Provide direction, coaching, and support to teams, establishing organizational structures for architectural consistency and business alignment. Review and approve architectural documents. Education, Experience, and Certifications

Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Required: Minimum 10 years of IT or software development experience, including enterprise architecture, system design, business analysis, and leadership roles. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Deep knowledge of programming languages and object-oriented design. Understanding of cloud architecture, especially AWS services like Lambda, Glue, S3, Step Functions, RDS. Expertise in modern data architectures, data pipelines, ETL, and real-time processing. Experience with project management methodologies. Preferably, extensive knowledge of the health insurance industry. Strong analytical, conceptual, and leadership skills. Hands-on development skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java. Ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and develop business cases. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment in fast-paced environments. Financial Responsibilities
