Job Title: Echo Technologist Profession: Echocardiographer Specialty: Cardiology Non-Invasive Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered RDCS or CCI Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Skills in adult and some pediatric echocardiography Description: The position requires a candidate to clear the Echo Tech requirements within three weeks. The Echo Technologist will perform 7 to 10 echocardiograms per day, working with both inpatients and outpatients. The working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a commitment to on-call duties one weekend every six weeks. Additionally, the candidate will be on-call for four nights during the 13-week duration. This role involves coverage of multiple cardiology clinic locations as well as outreach clinics and a vascular clinic. Candidates must possess the ability to effectively manage diverse patient needs in various clinical settings.
