FTE: 100% WORK SHIFT: Days PAY RANGE: $104,915.20 - $535,600.00 UNION: SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the OMP Chief Physician Officer, the Clinical Director-OMP Medical Specialties is the administrative physician charged with the clinical direction of the OMP clinic service lines for Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, and administrative supervision of OMP physicians and APCs in the clinic and hospital setting. The Clinical Director-OMP Medical Specialties provides administrative supervision and directs the clinical supervision of the physicians and advanced practice clinicians in the area of responsibility. They work closely with the OMP Chief Physician Officer to set and maintain the clinical and strategic direction of the clinics and services. They also collaborate with the assigned OMP Manager to ensure patient access, provider accountability, quality care and improvement, evidence-based protocols, and workflows. The Clinical Director-OMP Medical Specialties works with the OMP Physician Recruiter on the recruitment and retention of physicians and APCs. They also collaborate with the OMC Quality Support Services and Patient Experience departments to review events in the OMC Event Response System. This position is assigned a 0.2 FTE carve-out from an existing or new clinical position, with the exact time required determined by the Chief Physician Officer.
