Software QA Engineer
with manual testing skills to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: • Execute manual testing across various applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards. • Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements to develop effective test cases and scenarios. • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, system, and exploratory testing. • Report and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring clear and detailed documentation. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve quality. • Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting activities. • Validate fixes and ensure defects are resolved before product releases. • Provide feedback to enhance usability, functionality, and overall quality of applications.
Qualifications: •
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •
Experience:
Around 2 years of experience in manual software testing. • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and detailed test plans. • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms. • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. • A basic understanding of databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries is a plus. •
Amazing written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with a global team.
