Are you passionate about driving global business solutions? Join our dynamic Retail Business Services team at Amazon Employee Services as an experienced Business Analyst. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing the global work authorization experience for employees by understanding and implementing innovative, repeatable processes. Your analytical skills and keen business acumen will help you partner with key stakeholders to uncover insights that will advance our initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining analysis artifacts focused on requirements, metrics, and reporting dashboards.
Collaborating with teams to create and implement KPIs, automated reporting solutions, and process enhancements tailored to business needs.
Aggregating and presenting data from diverse sources to facilitate effective decision-making.
Preparing business requirement reviews for senior management, outlining progress and addressing challenges.
Participating in both strategic and tactical planning discussions.
Designing and maintaining user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support our business objectives.
Utilizing excellent writing skills to produce clear artifacts for business and tech partners.
Key qualifications include:
A minimum of 3 years experience with Excel or Tableau, including data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.
Data-driven approach to defining requirements and generating business insights.
Proficiency in SQL or ETL practices.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI platforms.
1+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical domain.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Amazon Redshift and AWS technologies.
Ability to create complex SQL queries that integrate multiple datasets.
Knowledge in SCALA and Pyspark will be an advantage.
