Join us at Amazon as a Senior Business Analyst in the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety & Compliance (RISC) Global Data & Analytics (GDA) team. We are looking for a talented individual to play a key role in driving proactive and reactive analysis and insights to make impactful business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating automated reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau and Quicksight.
Collaborating with Program teams, Legal, and Technical stakeholders to solve challenges and drive program success.
Providing data support for business and cross-functional partners to address escalations using PostgreSQL and AWS solutions.
Mining and analyzing data to uncover trends and develop insights for effective decision-making.
Designing and executing analytical projects using statistical analysis.
Building and promoting self-service solutions that empower stakeholders to independently access and analyze data.
Networking with senior leaders across the business to understand their needs and to develop an inspiring vision for analytics.

Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields.
5+ years of expertise in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience defining requirements and using data to draw insights.
Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
Ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA degree.
Experience with large datasets.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R.
Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, EMR, and Apache Spark.

Compensation reflects labor costs across different US geographic markets, with base pay ranging from $106,400 to $185,000 annually, based on market location and experience.
