In this exciting position, you will lead a team of Data Analysts in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, focusing on special education management systems, data warehousing, federal claiming, and other vital programs. Your expertise will guide strategic recommendations on data interoperability and empower data-driven decision-making for our clients.
Overall Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a talented team to deliver exceptional service to clients, including states and large school districts.
Supervise a team of Data Analysts and provide strategic insights to enhance data interoperability.
Oversee data processes such as importing/exporting, transforming, validating, and modeling to inform operational strategy.
Position Requirements:
Project Management:
Lead projects by setting scope, managing schedules, addressing issues, and collaborating with stakeholders. Documentation:
Ensure rigorous documentation of data projects for clarity and validation throughout the data engineering process. Data Analysis:
Profile datasets, identify patterns, and extend PCG's Data Schemas while crafting transformation rules and executing analytics. Data Engineering:
Utilize programming logic to write scripts and automate ETL processes with tools like MS Access. Communication Skills:
Engage effectively with clients and team members, presenting findings and facilitating discussions. Specific Responsibilities: Delegate tasks to meet or exceed client expectations efficiently. Create advanced SQL queries and perform complex data mining techniques. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to clients' needs. Automate business processes using Power Apps and Flows. Conduct business analysis to identify areas for operational improvement. Present and explain data analysis results to internal stakeholders. Coordinate with IT on data governance and warehouse requirements. Ensure creation and maintenance of essential documentation like data dictionaries. Build strong relationships with clients, resolving issues and providing support. Travel to client meetings for status updates and presentations. Work closely with technical teams on evolving data structures and reporting needs. Manage data migration, integration, and overall project activities. Perform data quality assurance to maintain high standards. Review analyses and prepare agendas for client meetings. Assist school districts with electronic data submissions and system uploads. Required Skills: Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Expertise in scriptwriting, macros, and data manipulation techniques. Exceptional organizational, oral presentation, and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Visio, Asana, and JIRA. Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other data platforms. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant data analysis experience. 3+ years of supervisory experience. 3+ years of experience in K-12 educational systems. 6+ years of experience as a data analyst. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, reflecting the importance of the role and the skills required.
