Join the team at Floor & Decor as a Lead eCommerce Data Analyst!
Purpose
This critical position focuses on analyzing and reporting on our eCommerce business as well as enhancing the overall cross-channel customer digital experience. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the online experience by influencing both design and content strategies.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred, coupled with 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
Skilled in analyzing KPIs and providing actionable recommendations related to sales, promotions, user-generated content, and site performance.
Experience with eCommerce business models and digital marketing channels (SEO, email marketing, retargeting, display advertising, etc.), A/B testing, and content management systems.
2-5 years of experience with web analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics.
Well-versed in website tagging; familiarity with tools like GTM or Tealium is essential.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required; familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
Ability to work with large datasets, knowledge of SQL is preferred, along with experience using platforms like Databricks or BigQuery.
Highly analytical mindset with a strong foundation in statistics; comfortable working with data to support project justification.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.
Organized, detail-oriented, and possessing excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Multi-tasking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
Collaborate with online merchandising & digital content teams to enhance performance reporting and drive actions aligned with strategic objectives.
Gain proficiency in our site tagging solution and work with the development team to ensure implementation of relevant user behavior tracking.
Create and present actionable reporting to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Define and track website performance success across variables such as audience acquisition, retention, engagement, and conversion rates.
Partner with the digital marketing team to evaluate the effectiveness of paid channels, guiding budget allocation and new initiatives.
Enhance and expand existing analytics efforts, focusing on conversion analysis, customer behavior segmentation, and content effectiveness.
Translate complex data and reporting into clear insights for business owners, leading to actionable strategies that generate measurable outcomes.
Conduct self-directed analysis based on established business objectives.
Adhere to all Privacy Preferences and Security protocols.
Working Conditions
Travel may be required, including air and car travel.
The work environment noise level is generally quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
This role primarily involves sedentary work, including the ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally and negligible amounts frequently. While the job usually involves sitting for extended periods, some walking or standing may be required.
