As a Mid-Level UX Researcher with a strong focus on quantitative methods, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Prime and influencing Amazon-wide strategy. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and executing comprehensive mixed methods research studies that blend quantitative rigor with qualitative insights. Managing the entire research lifecycle, from proposal creation and methodology design to participant recruitment, session moderation, analysis, and delivering actionable insights. Implementing effective research methodologies tailored to business objectives and available resources. Supporting the execution of large-scale customer experience tracker surveys, focusing on design, analysis, and optimization. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership, engineers, product managers, marketers, UX designers, and fellow researchers to drive customer-centric decisions. Identifying opportunities to streamline research processes and enhance operational efficiency while maintaining the quality of your work. Your analytical skills and ability to manage intricate projects will thrive in our fast-paced environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Human Factors, Business, Research, Statistics, Behavioral Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including survey design and execution. 3+ years of utilizing data and analytics to formulate program objectives and solve business challenges. Familiarity with survey programming and administration tools, such as Qualtrics. Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Matlab, Excel with advanced functions). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field such as Experimental/Cognitive/Social Psychology, Human Factors, or Behavioral Economics. Expertise in advanced statistical techniques for survey design and analysis. Experience leading large-scale research programs and working with cross-functional teams. The position offers a competitive salary range from $117,100 to $193,600 annually, depending on market location and individual qualifications.
