Responsibilities: Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for large-scale distributed applications. Enhance existing products and create new features to improve user experience. Address diverse challenges by designing core backend software components. Manage large-scale data storage and synchronization within server clusters, providing a robust runtime environment for frontend applications. Work independently on medium to large software features, from inception to completion, with minimal supervision. Collaborate across teams to integrate innovations and conduct thorough design and code reviews. Analyze and enhance the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources. Adapt and drive necessary changes within your designated codebase and system areas. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Software, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficient in coding with industry-standard languages including C, C++, Java, or C#. Experience in building large-scale infrastructure applications. Ability to independently design and complete medium to large features. Familiarity with Python, PHP, or Haskell, relational databases, and SQL. Experience with software development tools such as VIM or Emacs for code editing, and GIT or Subversion for version control. Proficient in using Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems, including advanced shell scripting and file manipulation. Strong background in developing high-performance, scalable solutions. Knowledge of data processing, programming languages, databases, operating systems, and human-computer interaction. Ability to apply algorithms and computer science principles to real-world systems. Experience with distributed systems is a plus. Compensation:
