Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
Design, develop, and test custom software solutions across various system components or applications.
Create implementation or integration strategies for applications and components.
Align application design and coding with programming standards and interface specifications.
Architect development strategies for applications and components.
Coordinate development streams according to overall program timing and milestones.
Build deployment plans that align with project timelines and requirements.
Design, build, and configure application or technical architecture components based on business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure buy-in for application and component design.
Develop and direct software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
3 years of experience in coordinating system integration activities throughout the software delivery lifecycle in the Pension Industry, including B2B integrations with banks or financial institutions.
Experience gathering requirements, design, configuration, programming, testing, and deployment of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and Pension.
Utilization of SQL with SQL Server and Oracle to create reports or queries for requirements gathering, configuration, root cause analysis, and testing.
Management of architectural and design decisions to improve ongoing system performance.
Project management expertise, including creating work plans for teams and tracking issues and risks.
Experience leading system integrations and production maintenance teams.
This position requires a willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
The offered wage for this role is $135,699.00 per year.
