COMPENSATION:
$88,200 to $110,700 annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable). This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's experience and other job-related factors. JOB PURPOSE:
The Front-end Application Developer will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our kiosk self-ordering solution. This position will involve collaboration with our diverse teams and third-party software providers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain front-end & middleware Android applications, encompassing client-facing apps, business logic, REST API calls, and GraphQL queries. Participate in continuous integration and delivery efforts to uphold high standards of code quality. Commit to personal learning and development while sharing best practices with fellow engineers. Refine application architecture to adapt to evolving business requirements while meeting service level agreements (SLAs) for availability and performance. Stay updated on current technologies, best practices, and skills essential for successful application delivery. Document and communicate updated architectural patterns, design components, and development processes. Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality applications aligned with team requirements. Assist in implementing new restaurant solutions, including Yum POS (point-of-sale) and KDS (kitchen display system) applications. Engage with cross-functional teams (20%) to transform mockups into working prototypes and assess development needs. Advocate for self-ordering technologies to enhance both customer and team member experiences. Conduct code reviews for peers, providing constructive feedback and sharing best practices. Manage the complexity of supporting multiple projects simultaneously. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience: 3+ years of Android development experience. Experience in developing applications with state management. Knowledge of sound SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies. Experience querying GraphQL and working with headless CMS. Foundational knowledge of systems design and application architecture. Experience implementing or integrating CI/CD processes. Skills in performance testing, profiling, and tuning. Familiarity with cloud-based architectures preferred. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Microsoft DevOps. Experience with cloud-native applications, preferably AWS. Contentful CMS knowledge is a plus. Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs. About the company:
