Join the AWS Networking Software team, where we enhance our customers' networking infrastructure and revolutionize the host experience for complex workloads in the cloud. We are seeking talented software development engineers who have a strong background in networking and a passion for innovation for an exciting new initiative within the AWS Elastic Network Adapter team. The Elastic Network Adapter team plays a critical role in enabling enhanced networking for a variety of AWS EC2 instances, including Accelerated Computing, Compute Optimized, Memory Optimized, and Storage Optimized Instances that run on Linux infrastructure. As a software development engineer, you will take charge of the architecture and development of features that aim to transform EC2’s core networking capabilities while collaborating with a group of highly skilled engineers. Key Responsibilities: Advanced development of scalable and available embedded networking features. Cross-functional collaboration with architecture and hardware teams. Deep dive into L3/L4 networking protocols. Contribute to building a wide-scale AWS service. About the Team: We are a group of experienced engineers with diverse backgrounds in chip, firmware, and embedded software development as well as deep networking knowledge for host-side networking. Our collaborative efforts aim to build groundbreaking AWS services. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience. At least 2 years of design or architecture experience, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience in embedded development using C/C++. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience in full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, testing, and operations.
