Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Developer Advocate focused on Developer Productivity. We are creating cutting-edge AI-powered development tools, including Amazon Q Developer, designed to enhance coding efficiency and streamline debugging processes. If you are an experienced builder eager to help other developers boost their productivity while shaping the future of development tools, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will: Create detailed technical content that showcases Amazon Q Developer and other AI development tools. Develop engaging video tutorials, live coding demonstrations, and comprehensive implementation guides to help developers seamlessly integrate these tools. Focus on long-form content that illustrates complete problem-solving scenarios, such as modernizing legacy applications and building full-stack architecture. Conduct technical demonstrations that build full applications and create patterns for integrating with existing development environments. Engage directly with the developer community to identify pain points and relay feedback to engineering teams to influence product roadmaps. Contribute to open-source projects and develop guides that drive measurable productivity improvements for developers. On a typical day, you may review community feedback on your latest tutorial, build a live coding demo showcasing Java modernization techniques, and actively participate in technical discussions in developer forums. You will also collaborate with product teams on upcoming features and prepare content for talks or blog posts that simplify complex integration patterns. Your qualifications should include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Over 7 years of software development experience with a focus on building production applications. Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real-world development workflows.
