We are excited to invite a skilled Electronic Security Solutions Architect (TSA) to join our Engineering Center of Excellence. In this vital role, you will support our sales organization by developing innovative and repeatable electronic security solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Collaborating closely with sales leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, design, and technology support across both regional and national teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance to facilitate customer discussions on electronic security solutions.
Coordinate communication and activities between sales teams, local & regional resources, and engineering departments.
Serve as the systems integration and field applications expert for the sales organization.
Mentor technology practices for sales, costing, engineering, and field implementation.
Conduct customer consultations, presentations, and demonstrations of tailored technologies.
Participate in Securitas events and external tradeshows such as GSX, ISC, NRF, RILA, and others.
Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed field surveys to assist in the design development and estimation of customer solutions.
Value engineer solutions that meet customer requirements and support sales efforts.
Collaborate with costing & estimating engineers by developing bills of materials, scopes of work, and device placement drawings.
Assist in crafting sales proposals by providing essential technical information and reviewing proposals for accuracy.
Advise product management on product defects and suggest enhancements based on customer feedback.
Support field teams by recommending standard technology across installations and facilitating understanding of designs.
Provide insights for advanced planning during customer migrations or new technology implementations, including technology selection and project planning.
Assist sales teams with technology-related inquiries and actively engage in meetings, walkthroughs, and scope reviews.
Qualifications and Education:
6+ years of experience in Electronic Security.
5+ years of experience designing Electronic Security systems (Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV/ Video Management Systems, Visitor Management Systems, Intercom Systems).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Valid state driver's license without restrictions.
Extensive knowledge of integrated electronic security solutions and their design.
Some familiarity with Fire Alarm & Life Safety Code.
Working knowledge of Computer Systems & Networking.
Ability to read and interpret electronic security specifications along with performing equipment counts and identifying cable requirements.
Clear and professional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal teams and clients.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Consultative sales process experience is advantageous.
Field Applications experience is a plus.
Systems Integration experience preferred.
Experience with Physical Security Information Management and Global Security Operations Centers.
Familiarity with Bluebeam and Visio.
Knowledge of high-security credentials and systems.
Understanding and certification with UL standards and high-security applications.
Knowledge of structured cabling and relevant certifications.
Understanding of NFPA codes and NICET certification preferred.
Additional Information:
Expect approximately 50% travel for the role.
