Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

System Administrator

to support a dynamic team of .NET Web Application Developers working on enterprise-level solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing Windows-based systems, application servers, Oracle and SQL Server databases, and automation tools such as Control-M. This position involves close collaboration with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications, maintain high system availability, and support operational needs including ETL processes, continuity planning, and cloud migration preparation. You will serve as the technical backbone of the team-configuring and maintaining development, test, and production environments, resolving infrastructure-related issues, deploying application releases, and ensuring system compliance and security. Responsibilities Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2019 or newer), including IIS, networking, security, and patching. Support the deployment, configuration, and operational maintenance of .NET web applications, web services, and middleware components. Collaborate closely with .NET Developers to troubleshoot and resolve system, database, and integration issues. Provide operational support for financial and enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Integrate and automate operational workflows using automated batch management tools such as

Control-M . Coordinate and develop

production schedules

in collaboration with user departments, adhering to SLAs and organizational guidelines. Manage SQL Server RDBMS environments (2019 or higher) and Oracle databases in coordination with development and DBA teams. Utilize

SQL and SQL Plus

to query

Oracle and MSSQL

databases for operations and troubleshooting. Perform

installation, upgrades, and patching

of application software and core database platforms. Administer IIS web servers and application pools, and support deployments via Visual Studio or CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain

PowerShell

and

Python

scripts to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance performance. Monitor application and infrastructure performance and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues. Familiarity with SPLUNK is preferred. Manage and support

ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)

processes across systems to ensure data quality and readiness for reporting. Plan, test, and execute

Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP)

for mission-critical systems to ensure resilience. Collaborate with development teams to address operational requirements and ensure smooth integration into production environments. Support strategic planning for

future cloud migration

efforts, including operational assessments and risk identification. Ensure systems are secure and compliant with organizational and federal security standards. Collaborate across teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies. Participate in documentation efforts for system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery. Work closely with end-users for troubleshooting, training, and requirements gathering. Occasional night, weekend, and on-call hours are required. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Windows system administration supporting development teams. Strong experience supporting .NET applications, especially with Visual Studio (.NET Framework 4.5+), C#, and ASP.NET. Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting for automation. Hands-on experience with IIS, SQL Server, and Oracle database environments. Experience with automated workflow tools (e.g., Control-M) and batch process scheduling. Demonstrated expertise in ETL process management. Solid grasp of networking concepts, security best practices, and Active Directory/GPO administration. Strong working knowledge of database backup, recovery, and replication strategies. Proven ability to support operational systems in high-availability environments and collaborate across technical teams. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Desired Skills Experience with

cloud services and hybrid infrastructure. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins. Familiarity with
