Launch Systems Analyst (LSA) Positions The Launch Systems Analyst provides expert advice, assistance, and programmatic assessments in support of OSL management, organizational, and business efforts. LSAs apply knowledge and experience in technological, programmatic, program management, or business fields to support the execution of launch enterprise portfolios, organization, and governance. Key Tasks Include: Drafting technical evaluations, briefings, analysis, and reports required for program execution. Collect, analyze, evaluate data, and make recommendations based on results. Developing processes to determine the effectiveness of current activities, examining problem areas, and developing solutions. Analyzing and developing new requirements, plans, and alternative solutions to support the OSL enterprise. Supporting the development of contract, ECP, and Task Order requirements packages. Developing strategies to procure launch services and verifying that portfolio plans are executable within resource constraints. Tracking, reviewing, and assessing contract and CDRL deliverables. Formulating strategies, processes, and products aligned with business strategies in conjunction with functional users and government. Developing and maintaining briefings and data submissions supporting OSL equities and corporate governance. Drafting and reviewing documentation related to the Launch Enterprise Portfolio and OSL governance. Developing agreements with external agencies or mission partners. Supporting documentation, communication, processes, and tools to assist COTRs, Portfolio Managers, and division chiefs. Providing leadership and support in program/project planning, milestones, performance monitoring, and risk management. Maintaining knowledge of processes and tools for requirements management and implementation strategies. Assessing impacts from broad programmatic concepts to specific mission requirements. Recommending strategic and innovative approaches to technical problems. Creating briefings, papers, and reports on space launch topics. Supporting matrix/staff offices to meet program goals. Position Levels: LSA-I (Entry Level): Minimal experience, general knowledge of NRO and OSL policies, familiarity with government contracting, budgeting, and financial processes. LSA-II (Intermediate): Proven knowledge, 2+ years experience, ability to develop briefings and support strategic planning, extensive knowledge of policies and procedures. LSA-III (Senior): Demonstrated expertise, 5+ years experience, ability to provide guidance, develop risk assessments, and deliver high-level briefings. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. Locations: Chantilly, VA; Cape Canaveral, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Vandenberg AFB; Colorado Springs, CO. Compensation: $100,000 - $170,000/year, with full benefits including PTO, flexible schedules, 401k, bonuses, ESOP, tuition reimbursement, and health insurance.
