Embedded Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Software & Networking

We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Development Engineer to be a crucial part of our team, contributing to the design and deployment of reliable embedded software for a variety of consumer electronics. In this role, you will: Develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within the Project Kuiper ecosystem. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements, design, coding, testing, and ensuring comprehensive code/test coverage. Utilize programming languages such as assembly, C, C++, or Rust to build software solutions. Apply real-time embedded software philosophies and practices. Leverage your expertise in Linux and RTOS to enhance system performance. Review schematics, use logic analyzers, and employ bare-metal troubleshooting techniques. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with various teams, crafting embedded software from conceptualization to deployment, and adapting to new challenges and priorities as they arise. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and design patterns. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
