Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Project Manager - Business Practices
to join our growing Project Management team. As a Project Manager focused on business processes, you will play a key role in optimizing both our manufacturing and business processes which ultimately enhance operational performance. You will lead cross-functional teams in the identification, planning, and implementation of improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Your ability to sustain project results and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be critical to our success.
This role will be based out of either our Burnsville, MN or Faribault, MN facility.

In this role you will get to:
Lead initiatives that streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve performance across Trystar’s business
Lead and manage projects aimed at improving business processes and operational efficiency.
Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that milestones are achieved and results are sustained.
Analyze data and metrics to measure project success and identify areas for further improvement.
Facilitate regular meetings to report on project status, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving among team members.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in process improvement methodologies, with relevant certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
3 years of experience in project management.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Highly motivated, passionate, with exceptional communications skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving operational efficiencies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of business processes, tools, and technologies is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing environments.
PMP Certification
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
