VFI is certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business . VFI seeks an experienced, professional Desktop Support Technician Level II for a multi-year contract supporting the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) IT Services. Note: All candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearance. Location: March ARB/ March, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed Travel: Minimal, less than 10% Duties And Responsibilities Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals. Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and applications development to restore service and identify core problems. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends system modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in the field.
