Join Floor & Decor as a Senior DevOps Specialist, where you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge tools and infrastructure for our internal application development teams. Your expertise will enhance our Enterprise services, including performance analysis, monitoring, alerting, logging, and deployment, ultimately driving developer productivity and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of software development and operations experience with a strong focus on automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Python, and Bitbucket to maximize the efficiency of application development teams.
Build and manage infrastructure and services in Azure cloud and on-premises (VMWare) utilizing automation tools like Ansible and Terraform (infrastructure as code).
Integrate and enhance solutions for continuous improvement by periodically upgrading platforms.
Engage with end users to define business requirements for new projects and support existing processes.
Develop leadership skills to guide project execution through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
7+ years of development experience.
AZ-104 Certification and Kubernetes Certification (KCNA, CKA, or CKAD) are required.
Terraform Associate (003) certification is preferred.
Proficient with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket (GIT).
Extensive CI/CD development experience using Jenkins pipelines with integration to Bitbucket or Github, ArgoCD, Helm Charts, and AKS.
Experienced in automating software quality and security frameworks such as SonarQube, Selenium, and JMeter.
Strong background in scripting for Linux and Windows using BASH and PowerShell.
Experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
Skilled in Kubernetes administration and configuration management using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and navigate various development phases.
Exceptional communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
Working Conditions:
Travel may be required, including air and car travel.
The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
