As a Machine Learning Applied Scientist, you will be responsible for: Conducting deep data analysis to gain insights and identify new opportunities. Developing scalable and effective machine learning models and optimization strategies. Running A/B experiments, gathering data, and performing statistical analysis. Collaborating with software engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Improving the scalability, efficiency, and automation of large-scale data analytics and model training. Researching new machine learning methods to optimize the Sponsored Products business. Our team is pioneering the use of advanced machine learning and generative AI in the Sponsored Products domain, ensuring every customer has a personalized shopping experience. From backend optimization to frontend innovations, we make every effort to understand shoppers and enhance their experience on Amazon. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications. PhD or Master's degree with at least 6 years of applied research experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning techniques. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with modeling tools like R, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and others. Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
