A trusted leader in commercial construction, specializing in concrete and tilt-wall projects throughout Florida. Our team is known for its professionalism, integrity, and ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. We’re looking to add an Assistant Project Manager who shares our drive for excellence and dedication to teamwork.
Position Summary: The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager in all phases of construction from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a strong understanding of construction processes and a desire to grow within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Attend and document project meetings; distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action items
Support in preparing bid packages and reviewing subcontractor scopes
Help maintain safety, compliance, and communication across job sites
Collaborate with the Superintendent and field team to track progress and resolve issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in concrete or structural work
Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Excel
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
