Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning and AI Solutions

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the US Intelligence Community to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI algorithms, including advanced Generative AI solutions aimed at enhancing decision-making processes. The AWS US Federal Professional Services team partners with government agencies to fulfill mission objectives through innovative machine learning techniques. Our work encompasses diverse applications across text, image, video, and audio, utilizing both traditional ML frameworks and state-of-the-art generative models, including Large Language Models (LLMs). We aim to deliver tailored solutions that drive innovation based on customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Engage with customers to assess their business challenges and assist in the implementation of advanced AI solutions. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to explore, design, and evaluate algorithms targeting real-world applications. Develop best practice guides, tutorials, blog posts, and sample code that cater to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide insights and feedback to product and engineering teams to influence and enhance product development. Deliver presentations and briefings, contributing to knowledge sharing across teams. Prepare for potential travel up to 25% locally as required. About You: We are looking for experienced data scientists who are adept in both traditional and generative AI. You should have a strong foundation in building reliable models and deploying data-intensive applications at scale. Excellent business acumen and communication skills are vital for effective collaboration and translating customer needs into actionable solutions. You will also play an essential role in mentoring fellow engineers, contributing to an environment of shared learning and innovation. Qualifications: Basic:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience building models for business applications. Proficient in algorithms, data structures, data mining, and familiar with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph. Preferred:

Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field with practical experience tackling complex applied problems.
