Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team as a Delivery Consultant specializing in Application Modernization. In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with customers to architect, implement, and manage tailored AWS solutions that align with their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be integral to facilitating customer success on their cloud journey, providing essential technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies. Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies. Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts. Team Environment:
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts committed to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes using the AWS Cloud. We work alongside customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud initiatives and provide assistance across a variety of solutions and industries. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience delivering application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with a focus on AI and automation. 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda). AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python). Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to various audiences. Experience delivering large-scale software development and modernization initiatives in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript) and with Generative AI tools/technologies.
