A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Attorney in Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in handling various labor and employment matters, including non-compete and trade secret disputes, employee misconduct investigations, and executive compensation disputes.
Duties
- Manage non-compete, trade secret, and employee mobility disputes.
- Conduct employee misconduct investigations.
- Handle single plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation lawsuits and arbitrations.
- Draft employment, severance, and non-competition agreements.
- Provide day-to-day employment law counseling.
- Assist with labor and employment law aspects of M&A transactions.
- Take and defend key depositions and make court appearances.
- Handle mediations and manage complex cases.
Requirements
- Four to six years of relevant experience.
- Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Skills
- Proficiency in handling complex legal matters.
