A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Attorney in Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in handling various labor and employment matters, including non-compete and trade secret disputes, employee misconduct investigations, and executive compensation disputes.
Duties
Manage non-compete, trade secret, and employee mobility disputes. Conduct employee misconduct investigations. Handle single plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation lawsuits and arbitrations. Draft employment, severance, and non-competition agreements. Provide day-to-day employment law counseling. Assist with labor and employment law aspects of M&A transactions. Take and defend key depositions and make court appearances. Handle mediations and manage complex cases. Requirements
Four to six years of relevant experience. Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in the state of California. Skills
