This Critical Care position offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit with a focus on high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients. - Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EHR. - Participate in patient education and discharge planning. - Participate in unit meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 11 - Patient Ratios: 2-3 patients per nurse - Equipment: Ventilators, Impella devices, Swan Ganz catheters, A-lines Qualifications: - Valid RN license - ACLS and BLS certifications required - Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing preferred - Ability to float to Med-Surg when necessary - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Work Schedule: - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Some weekend shifts required, depending on scheduling needs - Call requirements: 1 shift per month if census is down Dress Code: - Scrub Color: Gray - No unacceptable attire At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
