This position offers a dynamic work environment centered around patient care and requires strong critical thinking skills, especially in managing ventilators and cardiovascular drips. Unit Information: - Location: Intensive Care Unit- Address: 504 Medical Center Blvd, Conroe, TX 77304- Floor: 3rd Floor- Number of Beds: 30- Staffing Structure: 2 Charge Nurses and 15 Nurses depending on patient acuity and needs Patient Ratios: - 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 ratios depending on patient needs Equipment Used: - Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)- Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)- Impella (not mandatory for contracts) Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Qualifications: - Required Skills: - ICU experience with ventilators and cardiovascular drips- Preferred Skills: - Neuro experience is preferred Typical Procedures: - Thoracentesis- Arterial Line and Central Line placement Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- BLS (Basic Life Support) Work Schedule: - 4 weekend shifts per schedule- No on-call duty required Dress Code: - Royal blue scrubs Additional Information: - Number of Positions: 1-2- Guaranteed Hours: Contract Length of 91 Weeks Join Our Team: At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
