The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients during their labor and delivery process. If you're a flexible, autonomous RN with a passion for maternal health, we want to hear from you! Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 26- Staff Members: 52- Staffing Structure: Minimum of 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 ORT on Night Shift.- Patient Ratios: 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed).- Equipment: Alaris pumps- EMR: Meditech, CPN charting system Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to laboring and antepartum patients.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.- Monitor and manage laboring patients, including those who are high-risk or require cesarean sections.- Be aware of unit guidelines and policies to ensure safe and effective care.- Support mothers and newborns through couplet care and other maternal-newborn practices. Preferred Qualifications: - At least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.- Experience with high-risk antepartum patients.- Preferred: Experience in mom-baby or couplet care.
