Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum night shift role requiring at least 2 years of L&D/PP experience and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.Job Details•Work in an acute care hospital setting on the L&D/Postpartum unit,•Unit consists of 9 L&D beds and 4 postpartum beds, following AWHONN staffing guidelines,•Handles high-risk deliveries, 34 weeks gestation and above, approximately 55 births per month,•Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts (6p-6a), with every other weekend required,•Floating required between Postpartum and L&D for candidates with relevant experience,•Expected to circulate for C-sections,•Uses Cerner for EMR documentation; fetal link for fetal monitoring; Phillips telemetry system,•No on-call responsibility,•Assignment length is 13 weeks,Job Requirements•Active RN license (State or Compact); pending licenses not accepted,•Minimum 2 years of recent experience in L&D and Postpartum nursing,•Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring,•Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years,•Copy of driver's license required,•COVID vaccination required,•Ability to float between L&D and PP,•Prior travel assignment experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted,•Must be able to circulate for C-sections,Additional Information•Patient population includes high-risk deliveries with strong emphasis on individualized birth plans,•OB tech present on both day and night shifts to support RNs,•Charge nurse available without a patient assignment for added support,•Hospital provides scrubs,•Must participate in permanent staff holiday rotation,•RT available 24/7; pharmacy support shifts after 10pm handled externally,•Floor-specific orientation consists of 3 shifts,•Candidates may not have been employed directly by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year,•Relias Dysrhythmia exam and skills testing may be required depending on location,),•hash,:•15216144901984408652,
