American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN with current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification for a Level I Trauma Center in a transplant and nephrology setting.Job Details•Position is in the PCU unit of a Level I Trauma, teaching, Magnet hospital,•22-bed intermediate PCU/med-surg unit focusing on pre- and post-operative transplant, nephrology, and urology patients,•Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7am-7:30pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation,•Staffing ratios on night shift are typically 1:3-4,•Floating within scope required to meet unit needs,•Epic EMR is used on the unit,•Central monitor system for step-down rooms and separate telemetry, with five beds having bedside monitors for closely monitored transplant patients,Job Requirements•Active South Carolina or Compact RN license required (license in hand preferred, pending may be considered with proof of application),•Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience required,•AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale,•SSN and valid driver's license required for consideration,•Must provide two professional references from the last two years,•Previous permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before applying,Additional Information•Responsibilities include monitoring step-down and transplant patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,•Solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms is required for scrubs,•First-time travelers will be considered,•Modules must be completed pre-start and average 4 hours,•Holiday coverage is required according to the unit's rotation,•During hurricane season (June-November), assignment to emergency response teams may occur,•Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered on a case-by-case basis,•Block scheduling requests may be submitted for management approval but are not guaranteed,•Parking requires a permit from the on-site management office; a $20 registration fee applies,),•hash,:•3945815700603929328,
