Our client—a well-established and growing wet utility contractor—is seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to oversee multiple complex wet pipeline projects across Southern California. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive project success—ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effective execution from start to finish. This is a full-time position with a flexible hybrid schedule, excellent benefits, and long-term career growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the
primary client liaison
for all project-related communications
Lead all aspects of project execution: budgets, scheduling, take-offs, resource forecasting, and more
Oversee submittals, change orders, technical reviews, and construction documentation
Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs for sewer, storm drain, and fire line systems
Coordinate job site requirements for large-diameter pipe, detention basins, and open-cut construction
Read and interpret civil plans, soils reports, and specification requirements
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Mentor and develop project management team members
Qualifications:
15+ years of
wet utility pipeline project management
experience required
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of
wet utility materials : PVC/SDR35, VCP, C-900, HDPE, RCP, and Iron Water
Hands-on knowledge of
Greenbook and Caltrans specifications
Experience with Planswift for takeoffs and estimating
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
Valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record
