The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders to advance the mission of the nonprofit organization. This role involves planning and executing outreach initiatives, fostering community partnerships, and promoting public awareness of the organization’s programs and services. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage diverse populations. Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums. Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and government agencies. Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition programs. Organize and facilitate community workshops, presentations, and engagement activities. Gather feedback from community members to inform program development and improvement. Collaborate with program staff to align outreach efforts with organizational goals. Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and prepare reports for leadership. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, Public Relations, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in community outreach or engagement, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working with diverse communities and populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
