Maximus is a global organization that specializes in providing health and employment services to millions of people every year. In the UK, we employ around 5,000 people across the country to deliver impactful services, including assessments, health services, employability programs, and specialist support.

This role acts as the team lead for organic social media planning, creation, and evaluation, overseeing governance, evaluation, and community management processes. As the number of accounts has increased to over 20, a single role is required to lead social media efforts.

The successful candidate will lead monthly social media planning meetings with support from the PR Manager, working with team members and the wider business to advise on social media strategy and tactics, developing organic campaigns as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead social media content planning and evaluation through established processes, including monthly planning meetings and overview slides, utilizing audience segmentation and prior content evaluations to improve quality.

Collaborate with Communications and Marketing teams to strengthen social media output, producing, evaluating, and continuously improving organic content aligned with Maximus' brand and growth priorities.

Develop engaging campaigns following social media trends and algorithm changes.

Ensure internal governance processes are followed to maintain quality and mitigate reputational risks, escalating breaches as necessary.

Manage community interactions across social media platforms, responding to comments and complaints appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience managing social media accounts and developing organic campaigns.

Understanding of audience engagement and platform nuances (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).

Experience evaluating social media output across channels.

Experience developing social media for large or corporate organizations is preferred.

Individual Competencies

Creative flair.

Strong understanding of posting, scheduling, and evaluating social media content.

Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail.

Awareness of social media's role and potential reputational risks for organizations like Maximus.

Ability to work collaboratively, including with senior stakeholders and commissioners.

Capability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Salary Range:

£32,000 - £37,000
