Job Description We are seeking a motivated and talented mid-level to senior-level insurance associate to join our Florida office!! The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years’ experience doing insurance defense (Construction Defect/ Professional Liability) and is comfortable handling cases semi-autonomously. Great opportunity for client contact and possible trial experience. Flexibility for in-office and hybrid/remote. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and analysis • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations • Work closely with partners and senior associates on case strategy and preparation • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel • Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Admitted to the Florida state bar. • 3 years of experience in insurance defense (Construction Defect/ Professional Liability). • Strong research and writing skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compensation and Benefits • Collegial, friendly working environment that fosters personalized mentorship opportunities • Supports professional development and encourages participation in community activities • Monthly billable hour requirement 158.30 (with substantial bonus paid for anything over that). • Potential salary range is $145,000-$165,000 Note: Base salary is determined by number of years practicing and substantive experience and may be different than the pay range indicated here.
